The Generals family was fantastic from my billet family, to the coaching staff ,training staff, and my teammates it was a great overall experience. I am very grateful for the opportunity I was given to be part of the Richmond Generals family and for everything they helped me accomplish both on and off the ice this season."

Coach Klimosko on Perno, " Lenny is a vey athletic goalie who is always playing on his toes.  We are looking forward to having him in our system and getting a chance to work with him at our level next season. From the first time we started talking to Lenny and he knew we were interested in him he has continued to  step up his game and improve. Which to our staff shows us he is a true competitor and hopefully a big game player for us next season."

Lenny becomes the 2nd Generals player this season to commit to a next level Junior program. He joins his Generals teammate Mason Hoehn who is tendered by the Springfield Junior Blues in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
